| We manufacture
the embroidered badges for many current military units to strict quality
and copyrights. Our minimum quantity in any one order is 50 off, but only
the initial 50 price includes the art work, and the computer programme costs.
All badges produced after this initial batch are at a very much lower price
which will continue for as long as the badge design remains the same. In
order to keep this price reasonable, all orders must be for 50 or more. Some
of the initial price includes our artists time in drawing up the design suitable
for turning into an embroidered badges. This is not as straightforward as
drawing for a printed picture...it has to imagine the direction, layout etc.
of the stitches in order to give the design depth and shape. Some of this
is the same on RAF and ATC badges..i.e. the crown, or the
leaved or roped edge pattern, and by allowing a reduction in time for this
repetition, we are able to quote cheaper prices for these as against our general quotation chart. The following are examples
of standard-style badges of the different services and the prices are quoted
for each. The first price is the total price including first
50 badges of the design, the second price is the price each for any further
supplies of the same badge in lots of 50 or more. The first batch will take
seven weeks (not including public holidays), but repeat orders will be usually
four weeks. All badge designs are treated as the owners copyright. We do not overrun, or keep excess badges in stock and sell them to third parties. We cannot supply a stitched sample of the design before the production run, as the computer programme has to be made in its entirety whether the 50 or just one sample is made, and it is the computer programme that makes up most of the cost! However, we can supply a coloured drawing if required in order to verify layout details etc. (note: this is not suitable for reproduction for printing etc.) We need an official order on the units official headed paper for commencement of manufacture, or a deposit of at least half the total cost if no official order can be supplied. Payment in full is expected on completion of the work. We can only keep our prices low by the prompt payments of our satisfied customers! Badges that do not follow a 'standard' pattern....such as army units...we will quote for on request....but be assured, the price will be the best. For a small extra charge an iron-on or self-adhesive backing can be supplied. we can also fit hook-side Velcro and supply loop side if required. Only the postage is extra.
